Severn #296 is a Tier 1 instrument with Joe’s finest hand-selected tonewoods and will be finished in Black Onyx. It has an exceptionally fine and flamey Curly Maple Edge on a highly figured and flamed mahogany lamination layer. The alder body backside is very nice. Gold hardware and a distinctive maple pickguard with abalone purfling give this Trem-based Severn a distinctive and exceptional look. This instrument also has a dark Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and ebony headstock and is inlayed with with a 12th fret boat. 3 Fralin Split Rail single coil pickups give this beauty a crisp and quiet single coil sound.
